While wool commonly obtained from sheep , Pashmina is obtained from a rare breed of Mountain goats that are native to the lower Himalayas. The wool is reared in spring when they shed their fibers and is cruelty free.

The Ring Test:
A common test for a pure pashmina is the ring test. The Pashmina fabric is so soft and fine that it can pass through a ring as shown on our video.

Seasoned hands delicately embroider in the Sozni style. The art of fine sozni embroidery was brought to Kashmir from Persia and the designs are inspired by their art.
The fabric is so fine that you would notice the gaps in fabric where embroidery is done as in pictures and
by design.
