This beautiful silk georgette saree has Sanskrit verses that offer salutations to One’s motherland, and its ecosystem including its mountains, rivers, and forests, and life forms!
It reads, "Matrabhumyo Namah (Salutations to one’s motherland) Giribhyoh Namah (Salutations to mountains ( which are natural shields across frontiers and from which river sources form) Vanebhoh Namah (Salutations to the Forests and Jungles that support life) Janapadebhyoh Namah (Salutations to all life forms)"
It comes in a pretty White and has these verses foil printed in gold. Beautiful Zardose Latkans adorn the saree edges. The Georgette for this saree is derived from pure silk yarn which is twisted to create the wrinkled and sheer Georgette fabric.
While many fabrics look like silk, pure silk stands out in its luster and texture. A silk mark tag is an assurance that the base fabric is made up of pure silk. The Pallu features intricate zari weaving. The saree is ready to wear with falls and pico pre-stitched. Pretty tassels add charm.
*Note There may be minor variations in the shade, the texture of the product. Hues/textures show differently based on ambient lighting, gadget settings, etc. This is a handwoven item and minor irregularities such as in weaving may be present. These are characteristic of handloom items and are not considered defects.
