Item: Modal Silk Saree with Bhandhini and Ajrakh hand block print
This saree is an amalgamation of 2 styles from the land of Kutch - authentic Bandhini in Green with a lovely ajrakh pallu on modal silk fabric. Modal silk is plant-derived silk, is breathable, and has a mild sheen.
The saree is first resist-dyed in Bandhini style with thousands of grains tried to the saree to create this dyeing pattern. Then it's stamped with Ajrakh blocks on the Pallu area. Ajrakh is one of the oldest fabric printing techniques in the world and involved a very elaborate multi-step process.
*Note: There may be minor variations in the shade, the texture of the product. Hues/textures show differently based on ambient lighting, gadget settings, color correction etc.
*Note : This is a fully handmade saree and may be subject to slight irregularities such as slight smudges, dye marks, and minor asymmetry in block print.
