Presenting a pure Ikkat Silk Saree handwoven in Pochampally in a striking shade of Black and Cream with a wide Zari Border featuring elephant and bird motifs. The body comes in plain cream highlighting the bold Red zari border and finished selvedge.

Ikkat is a noteworthy Textile patterning technique that is believed to have its roots in South East Asia and then found to have its way around few parts of the world.

In the Ikkat technique, the yarns are resist-dyed using complex calculations prior to weaving and the 2 step procedure of resist dyeing, and then weaving produces motifs uniquely identified by jagged outlines.

Take home a proud story of culture and contemporary delight. The saree is ready to wear with falls and pico done. Signature tassels lend more charm! An unstitched blouse fabric is included.
