Settled in the small town of Kanchipuram, the art of this weave dates back to over 400 years. Woven from pure mulberry silk, the body and the pallu of this saree come in vibrant hues. This Kanjivaram Silk Saree features a self weave and is woven in a green yellow dual tone. Traditional tone on tone buttas are woven throughout the green body. The orange equal width borders feature silver zari Annapakshi and Elephant motifs. The pallu is adorned with motifs in stripes using zari threads.
The saree comes with an unstitched contrasting blouse with zari borders.
It is ready to wear with falls and pico done. Pretty handmade tassels have been added that away elegantly along the pallu.
