About the Weave:
The historical development of Kanjivaram Silk occurred in the early 15th century when the famous weaving communities Devangas and Saligars, migrated to Kanchipuram from Andhra Pradesh. The weavers were exclusively acknowledged for their skills and craftsmanship. Woven with over 300 weft yarns, the saree is given a sturdy finish.
