This beautiful saree is all about understated charm. The blue base of the saree is a perfect canvas for the eye-pleasing zardosi work. The intricate zardosi with floral elements enhance its elegance and give it a shimmering touch.

Mysore is a melting pot of various cultural influences. Silk weaving and sericulture started in Karnataka to meet the weaving requirements of the Royal family. It is said that Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodayar was so impressed by the quality and grandeur of garments finished in silk when he was visiting the UK that he commissioned the first silk factory in India.

Ever since the quality and the popularity of Mysore silk has only been soaring..

This saree meets Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation (KSIC) standards for thickness and GSM (grams per meter).
