A exquisite beauty from Shantiniketan, Bengal blends in different art forms of Pichwai style murals with wax batik on pure silk jari tussar. This saree is truly a labor of love from the women folk of the region who are experts are this art. First a sketch is made and molten wax is spread across and the areas are resist dyed to yield the beautiful uneven patterns in colors. The saree is then washed in hot water to release the wax and the areas are again painted. This leads to unique patterns on the fabric .

This saree is silk mark certified for tussar silk and comes with falls and pico done.
