Settled in the small town of Kanchipuram, the art of this weave dates back to over 400 years. Woven from pure mulberry silk, the body and the pallu are often woven separately and eventually joined together.
This Kanjivaram Silk Saree in a pastel hue of cream, comes with a wide purple zari border. Traditional buttas in golden yarn are woven throughout the cream body. This eloquent and rich work of art belongs in every woman's wardrobe.
The saree comes with an unstitched purple blouse with wide zari borders.
The saree is shipped after attaching fall and pico (edging).
