The Tanchoi weave indeed has its origins in China and is known for its intricate patterns and luxurious texture created with pure satin silk yarns. Historically, the Tanchoi technique was developed in China and later brought to India, particularly to Varanasi, where it was adapted to suit local tastes and craftsmanship.

This beautiful saree comes  in gray lavender hue and features charming florals that are woven with no floating threads in the back.
