Chanderi sarees have always had a special place among the Royals and Bollywood for its sheer texture and sophistication. The recent patronage from the royal Scindia family has helped these mystical weaves gain popularity. It gets its name from its birth place Chanderi, a small town in Madhya Pradesh. Due to the usage of high quality yarns the fabric has sheer texture and transparency and is often referred to as ‘woven air’.

This saree comes in a pleasing Purple Maroon dual tone with Vertical Stripes woven in gold tone zari. The fabric is light and sheer. Gold Zari borders with intricate zari design intensifies the drama.  

This saree is ready to wear with fall and pico done. An unstitched blouse fabric is included.
