Pochumpalli Ikkat has a long history and is a highly sought-after design these days. Crafting this fabric involves a 2 step process. In the first step, segments of silk yarn are carefully resist dyed in several different dyes one after the other. Then they are woven to yield beautiful and rigid Geometric  patterns using complex calculations. The saree that you have chosen is completely handwoven and comes in a beautiful combination earthly colors and fiery Red.
