Crafted in the looms of Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh, this ethereal saree is a treat to the eyes. Traditional weaving techniques dating back to the 5th century are used to create this marvel. The carvings and inscriptions on the Ahilya Fort, Maheswar inspire the motifs of these sarees. Popularized by Maharani Ahilya Bhai Holkar, these sarees are known for their durability and glossy texture. This unique saree is reversible with two colors different from one another on each side. The body of the saree is set in mustard on one side and red dual tone on the other. Vertical Zari motifs adorn the body of the saree.

The saree is ready to wear with  pico done. Hand-knotted Long assels lend charm.
Falls is not stitched to this saree, to allow one from draping both sides.

*Note: There may be minor variations in the shade, the texture of the product. Hues/textures show differently based on ambient lighting, gadget settings etc.
*Note: This is a handmade product and slight irregularities in weaving may be present. Being characteristic, they are not considered defects.
