Kalamkari is an ancient Indian art form, typically done by hand-painting or block printing onto fabric. The technique of "Pen Kalamkari" is more intricate, using a pen and natural dyes to create detailed designs. Pure Assam silk is highly sought after for its lustrous texture, often used in sarees and other traditional Indian garments. The body of the saree features a floral motif, a common theme among Indian textiles. The Pallu's intricate themes of Annapakshi. To complete the look, a zari border is added, providing elegance and richness to the saree.
