This saree carries a tale of two cities!

This blue georgette saree hand woven in Banaras the oldest city of the world is then transported to Kutch in Gujrat so that it can be adorned with the most renowned work of Bandej. Bandej is a traditional method of dying the saree by tying up knots at various places and dipping them in fabric dyes, once dry the knots are untied to reveal beautiful patterns made by resist dyeing.

Apart from traditional Bandej work which has been done with utmost precision this saree also carries gold zari work on Shikargah motifs framed by a beautiful all over the body along with zari border and grand pallu.

SILK MARK CERTIFIED

This saree is ready to wear with fall and pico done. Handmade silk tassels adorn the pallu and add more grace to it. An unstitched blouse fabric is included.
