Pochampally Ikkat weaving is a centuries-old art practiced in villages such as Pochampally, Koyalgudam, Choutuppal, Siripuram, Bhuvanagiri, Puttapaka, and Gattuppala, primarily in Nalgonda district. Using natural colors and blends, traditional Pochampally/Ikat silk sarees feature geometric patterns in brilliant hues, while modern designs include intricate motifs like flowers, leaves, circles, and paisleys, as well as bold geometric lines or buti designs.
This Saree comes in white with a Patola pattern and woven tissue muted zari borders over pink that highlight the edges. The pallu is a resplendent design as well.
